Wise Guys Choppers, is the Pacific Northwest leader in creative choppers and custom bikes. We create complete custom bikes, bobbers, and choppers from a wide variety of makes and model motorcycles. We build ground up complete “one off” customs as well as perform fabrication and custom work to our customers bikes.
Our business started as a small “home garage business”. A hobby of metal fabrication and motorcycle customization that has carried on thoughout my life was reborn a few years ago. Since that time our hobby has turned into a full time business for both my son and I. I have come to be known in the custom bike business as “Joe Wiseguy” and my son Scotty has picked up the nickname “Red Sexy”. Names we both picked up based on our character and relationship with our valued customers, and friends in the business.
In the beginning I started working on other peoples bikes, hard tailing frames and swing arm modifications. We worked on older Yamaha’s, Triumph’s, Honda’s, and Kawasaki’s. We performed custom frame mods just as we still do today at our new shop location. Today however we also specialize in two of our favorite model bikes as well as the others mentioned. Our two favorite models are the Yamaha XS650 inline twins, and the Harley-Davidson Sportster V-Twin bikes. Specifically the Yamaha xs650 models from 1970 to 1984, and the Sportster / Buell Evolution models from 1986 to 2003.
At our shop we are excited about motorcycles of all brands. We simply like motorcycles, and we pride ourselves in building strong, reliable, good looking, and safe custom bikes. We believe that a motorcycle must perform as well as it looks, with performance, and cost the key factors in our bikes. Services: Besides offering complete custom bike builds we also offer frame modifications – hardtail, neck rake and stretch service to most model frames. We also offer swing arm custom build, stretch and brace services for most models. Custom handle bars to specification and style also available.
FRAMES: We can start with your bikes frame, and modify it to your specifications, or supply you with a new manufactured frame to begin your custom build. We build custom bikes in our shop to sell to the public however a majority of our bike work begins with our customers bringing in their bike with a list of specifications and desires to have it re-built into their vision.
Welding: We offer a full line of MIG and TIG welding specialties for your projects.
Engines: We can freshen up your motor in our shop with a rebuild to your specifications or get you a good deal on a new power plant for your bike. Many of the bikes we work on have a wide variety of over-bore kits and performance cams, and other parts available to get your project on the right track to perform as well as they look.
Paint and Finish: We are linked with professional painters, air-brush artists, pin-stripers, metal polishing, chroming, powdercoating, and abrasive blasting companies locally that are true professionals for that just perfect finish of your project.
Machine Shops: Again we are linked up with the northwests’ best in their fields for machining and specialty parts.
Parts: We offer a line of our own proprietary “Wise Guy” custom parts for your bike as well as other after market specialty parts at a reasonable price for our customers.
